Far Eastern Union Petrochemical (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd., also known as FUPY, is a foreign joint venture established in 2012 by Oriental Union Chemical Co., Ltd. and Far Eastern New Century Co., Ltd., both subsidiaries of the Far Eastern Group in Taiwan. The company's initial business was the 400,000-ton-per-year ethylene glycol project, which began trial operations in July 2015.
Products
The company specializes in the production and sales of ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, oxygen, nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and carbon dioxide. It operates a self-built cryogenic air separation unit with a capacity of 30,000 Nm³/hour, where the core process involves compressing, separating, and cooling air to produce oxygen, nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon.
